Wanted to share some pictures I've been taking in the last month & then adding a little style to them w/Creative Memories Storybook Creator Plus digital program.

Family hikes

This past Saturday, the family gathered together at around 7:30am to go hiking up at the Makiki Forest trail located in the Hawaii Nature Center park. We started the hike at 8:15am and finished by 12:15, four hours of enjoying the sites all around us. It took us longer then we anticipated because there were at least four trails to choose from. We tried two, but we weren't prepared to stay out all day, so we turned around and head back down the mountain to the park where we started. Next time we will try the others and plan for a nice a picnic up there.

These are photo's I took this past week. I love the outdoors & all the beauty it has, that's why landscape photography is my favorite style to take. I do try to include other types & will post as they come. I shoot waves, clouds, sunsets, mountain ranges, & anything outside that gets my eye. Hope you enjoy & if a photo grabs you, I do sell them at a great price.

Welcome to 2010!! Happy New Year & best wishes for a great New Year!!
I've been taking soo many photos that I got a little behind in my blog. I find myself having a tough time deciding which ones to delete, then I need to decide which are my best for showcasing. I also ran into some problems w/computers crashing & starting all over. I've learned a valuable lesson and that is to always back up after you've downloaded photos into your computer & check they are there before deleting from your camera! That is my New Years resolution for 2010, save, save, & save again to an external drive!!!
Well with that out of the way, let's get into the purpose of this blog, photo s & how I took them, where they were taken, & why I chose what I did. Also to share a little of my life in Hawaii w/my family & friends along with scrapbook pages I created traditionally & digitally!
